Ballard is Celebrating 50+ years!!!

Ballard Community Schools has developed a history of excellence. Many things have happened over the first fifty years at Ballard. We would like that information to be remembered, shared and hopefully never forgotten. We are asking people to forward trivia information related to the first 50 years of Ballard. Information can be about the school itself, former graduates, sports/activitity information or whatever you think. We would like to collect information from all decades (60's, 70's, 80's etc.). Here are some examples of trivia information from the early years that we would like to collect:

• Picture of first graduating class - Class of 1959
• The first day of school at Ballard was September 2, 1958
• Ballard’s first home football field was Slater Night Hawk Field in Slater.
